Lovely to meet you, dear Person Curious About My Profile! My name is Max Sautren (he/him)! If you came here from The Werepyre Seasons script you might already know I'm an aspiring filmmaker and a writer :) What you might not know is... well, let's not lie, several things, haha - but my main point is I'm also a multidisciplinary artist and a musician. I am deeply interested in history, philosophy and physics - currently I study all three through books and online lectures I find, but I am planning on eventually doing a degree around one of those subjects. But that's a future a bit farther down the line.

I'm also a queer man, as well as autistic and ADHD, and creating characters that can be a good representation of what being a queer and neurodivergent person can look like is very important to me. My mission is to not only spread awareness around what queerness and neurodivergence entail, but also to show in my fiction that nothing in our world is black-and-white. I once heard I am a relativist, and there is some truth to that - I do believe everyone has their own perspective on what the "good" and the "bad" mean to them, and thus we cannot fully describe those definitions, what they are supposed to mean at their core.

My aim is to focus on portraying how blurry the line is, how we all have a light and a shadow aspect in us, whether we admit that or not. To explore how the ability to always pick whether we currently choose to abide by our inner shadow or inner light is the quintessence of what makes us a reflective, conscious creature. In case you couldn't tell yet - yes, I was raised by a psychotherapist ! ;D
